I am going to take a round about way of answering your questions. The current drug policy in the U.S. stinks. The laws stink. My solution is to try something different. Abandon the old laws. I don't like the current laws because they slam the door shut on innovation and creativity. Something I think we need when dealing with perceived social or drug problems. A lot of truth wouldn't hurt either.

I have no problem with hemp. I think it would be beneficial to the economy. But, the general population either by tenet, coercion, ignorance, or propaganda believes otherwise. My solution is to sit up areas not unlike free trade zones, grow it, manufacture and sell the products and see what happens. Experiment.

I support the use of medical marijuana.
