Meade SN-10 F/4

My primary OTA is a Meade Schmidt-Newtonian 10 inch F/4 with a Baader MPCC coma corrector. This OTA has a JMI electric focuser.

QHY8 Color CCD camera

The QHY8 is a one shot Color CCD camera. It has a 6 mega pixel Sony HAD chip that is approx. 23X15 mm in size. It has a 2 stage TEC and USB 2.0 download.

Paramount ME

This is the Paramount ME on a PierTech telescoping mount. It is mounted inside the Mobile Observatory Van.

Mobile Observatory Van

This is a 1980's Grumman Van....all aluminum with a Chevy 350 engine. Has a piertech mount that is set up on a 2 inch steel plate with 3 legs that drop down through the floor of the van and lift the base off the floor so no vibrations from walking or movement of the van are transmitted to the telescope. It has a HomeDome 6 foot dome mounted on the roof, soon to be motorized.

This is the view looking into the van from the rear doors. You can see the wooden floor used to put the observer up into the dome area for visual work.
