Pleasant Worley is included here as pure speculation. A Pleasant Worley appears in the tax records and he fits with the Census information from 1810 to 1830. He disappears from the tax records in 1848, which means that it is possible that he is the husband of the Nancy Worley who appears in the 1850 Census with two daughters:

1850 Census- District #1, Whitley County, KY, p. 358 (dn/fn = 300)
Nancy Worley	age 28	b KY
Sally Worley	age 05	b KY
Jane Worley	age 02	b KY

It is possible that he died, or he could have "gone to California", as many did in 1849.

Although the name Pleasant is not a name used by our Worleys, it is a name that was used by the Meadors family.

Care must be taken not to confuse him with Elisha Worley who is also said to have married a Nancy and to have died before 1850 leaving two daughters.
