Although the children are not verified, the current listing is a better fit with the Census records. According to those records, the family of Joseph John Worley had four sons (see 1786-1790 Census) and six daughters (see 1786-1820 Census). The four sons should include Joseph John Worley, Jr. and also might include Willis, Wiley and James Cader Worley. Over the years, we have eliminated other possible sons of Joseph John Worley. For example, some had guessed that Gabriel Worley was a son. However, the following shows that he was a son of Lovick Worley, bother of Joseph John Worley:
