DIBRELL, Charles or Charles Debrill, S21160, VA Line, sol was b 24 Oct 1757 in Buckingham Cty VA & lived there at enl & about 1782 he moved to KY & in 1790 was living in Madison Cty KY & about 1822 moved to White Cty TN & sol appl there 6 Sep 1832, in 1832 an Anthony Dibrell was Clerk of the Circuit Court of White Cty TN but no relationship was stated, sol d 16 Jul 1840. DIBRELL, Anthony, Wilmuth or Wilmouth, W3398, VA Line, sol d in 1816 in Buckingham Cty VA, sol m Wilmuth or Wilmouth Watson spinster in 1790 in Amherst Cty VA both lived there the m bond was dated 3 Nov 1790 & was signed by sol & a James Watson (no relationship to wid stated), wid appl 25 Dec 1845 Amherst Cty VA aged 71, in 1848 wid lived in Nelson Cty VA, children were referred to in 1846 but only a son Charles L. Dibrell a res of Richmond VA was named & was there in 1848, in 1846 one R.H.L. Dibrell was also of Richmond VA but no relationship to sol was stated. [Abstracts of Rev. War Pension Files, p. 967]
